Polestar Racing announced today that its Volvo C30 WTCC race car is making its debut in Brazil. The Volvo C30 WTCC for the first time in the FIA World Touring Car Championship 2011 season to compete this weekend in Curitiba. Polestar Racing is part of an evaluation of the program in agreement with Volvo for the C30 commercial and technical skills developed. The 2011 WTCC season is a test phase for the Volvo C30 DRIVe, as the car for the 2012 season prepared.

Volvo C30 DRIVe is no stranger to the touring car racing. Polestar flew successfully in the Swedish and Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
Currently, the Polestar Volvo C30 WTCC of the 2.0-liter engine is driven, but the team is to switch later to a 1.6 turbo in the season.
