For all of you Mustang fans, here’s good news. Modular Mustang Racing (MMR) from Ventura, CA has just completed its work on the new Racer, a twin-turbo Shelby GT500 and will be on the West Coast Shootout PSCA Las Vegas debut next month. This Mustang is the third generation of racers and MMR is undoubtedly the fastest, nor in competition with the Outlaw 10.5 class.

During the construction of the car, started with a base 2010 Mustang V6 blown MMR and took 14 months to complete Shelby GT500 race car. Other than the standard body parts that normally hold racers per class, all other parts of the car custom build the chassis of the Luton Mark Race Cars.

About the engine started with a Ford Racing MMR 5.4L aluminum block with a wet sump, and is carved to perfection, while its Stage 3 ported heads GT500, 3R stage turbo camshafts, a variety of custom panel, steel billet crankshaft, pistons and rods Manley, two Garrett 80mm turbo.

In addition, the Mustang is a 400 turbo transmission Rössler, CTC torque converter, carbon fiber drive shaft and a strange 9-inch rear wheel. MMR cut all unnecessary and carbon fiber used extensively only £ 2,900 GT limited.
