Known for its crazy Audi High Speed Test Event in Nardo in Italy – including the 1020 hp, 390.6 kilometers per hour (242 mph) twin-engined TT MTM Bimoto the weather. But this time it is baby Ingolstadt A1, which had a rocket up the backside.
A1 instead of tuning an engine from the current range MTM was great from the start, the implantation of the 335 hp 2.5L TFSI unit from the TT RS, before the fuse to produce a stunning 500 hp.
As expected, the result is a lively version A1, some heavy machinery showed a clean pair of heels on Nardo. How does 0-100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 324 kph (200 mph) sound? And in a FWD car – but with the entire front of the TT RS (hence the wider track and slightly flared arches). For almost a direct comparison, Audi A1 clubsport quattro accelerates to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds.
But unlike the Clubsport quattro, if you could aerodynamic wheel covers and stickers you remove a real super sports car will be killer on your hands.
