The new Lancer Ralliart reinforces the sporty identity of the Lancer family (Lancer, Lancer Ralliart and Lancer Evolution) with aggressive styling and driving performance, a unique product between the Lancer GTS 2.4 and the Lancer Evolution models created. The 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart is an effective use of the rigid unibody and four-wheel independent suspension Lancer by mating this capable chassis to a turbocharged engine and all-wheel-drive.

Mechanical:
Lancer Ralliart’s 4B11 DOHC MIVEC with the new powered 2.0-liter turbo engine with intercooler and (also used in the Lancer Evolution) that delivers an estimated 235 hp. The engine is coupled to perform an efficient Twin Clutch SST Transmission Mitsubishi, which helps the sporty character of the vehicle the driver instantly, silky smooth, paddle-actuated shifts. The TC-SST transmission also operates in fully automatic mode for Normal and Sport driving conditions.

The full-time 4WD-drive Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart features of the Active Center Differential (ACD). The ACD unit employs an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch center differential, vector torque to the front and rear according to different driving conditions to provide the best balance between steering response and traction characteristics on the asphalt, gravel or snow to reach surfaces, to achieve. Lancer Ralliart is also equipped with coil springs front limited slip differential and a differential mechanical limited slip differential.

Design:
Building on the basic sporty design and proportions of the Lancer, Lancer Ralliart is the road through his aggressive styled front bumper, rear bumper, dual exhaust and a different light aluminum, led cap that delivers cooling air to the turbocharger.

The interior is more emphasis on function and control of the vehicle. Lancer Ralliart is used with FAST key, Bluetooth ® hands free telephone interface, the same Twin Clutch SST switch on Lancer Evolution, and easily accessible steering column mounted gearshift paddles fitted.

Available equipment and options include: Recaro seats, HID headlights, 650-watt Rockford Fosgate 9-speaker audio system, Sirius Satellite Radio, sunroof, and a 30-gigabyte hard drive navigation system with digital music server.
