The concept is a sporty five-door Shinari with a coupe-like profile with a joint effort by Mazda in the U.S., German and Japanese design studios created. The car was unveiled at a press event in the near Milan, Italy.
In Japanese Kodo means “soul of the movement” (thankfully not “put motion”), an apt description of the line of Shinari’s without the smooth running of the Nagare theme. Although Mazda executives were determined to mothers when the Kodo styling language, will make his debut, it is noted that the design will influence the future production will be Mazda. The Japanese automaker also further details of its new multi-platform and economic Sky diesel and gas engines and new six-speed automatic transmission released.

Better yet, meet both engines for 2020 global emissions regulations, diesel, and does so without the use of exhaust treatment. Both engines are the new “Sky Drive” six-speed automatic transmission, by reducing the internal friction increased available, the change of the torque converter and a change of programming, when it crashes.
In addition to introducing a new design theme, platform and powertrain systems, says Mazda is there will be better interiors in its future products.
“We want in the same group as BMW and Audi to play,” Derek Jenkins, director of design for Mazda North America, told Automotive News. “On the fit and finish, we want the same level of quality.”
