At the 2011 SEMA Auto Show Mazda is set to reveal the MX-5 Spyder. The lighter own drop-top at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, with a light plane design, the Spyder is the top along the front at the top of the windshield, while the rear buckles into mounts located in the truck. Mazda has yet to show exactly how much weight is removed from the vehicle, but it’s certainly at least shed a few pounds and has a light weight car like the MX-5.
Power for the Mazda MX-5 Spyder comes from the same 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine. The concept is driven by the isobutanol BP – a biofuel superior performance with little impact on the environment.
The MX-5 Spyder car went on a diet of sorts. The lowered suspension, combined with the new series of larger Brembo brakes both in the spirit of what a track version of MX-5 Miata, add that in this sexy red and silver finish, a soft and thin to be packed up, where the standard soft top, uses a low-lying spoiler, a larger central air intake and cooling ducts for front brakes.
