Mazda Motor Corporation today announced that its new compact crossover SUV will be named Mazda CX-5. It is the production model from Mazda MINAGI Concept at the Geneva Motor Show (81 ‘Salon International de l’Auto de Geneve) derived debuted in March this year and is on the New York International Auto Show, which will be shown to the public opens to 22 April 2011.

The CX-5 is the first production vehicle redesigned Mazda is about to be borne, “Kodo – Soul of Motion” debuted on the Mazda SHINARI concept car and the full range of ground-breaking SKYACTIV technologies, including engines, transmissions, body and chassis. The Mazda CX-5 Join Global Line-up in 2012.

The “CX” in the Mazda CX-5 crossover SUV lineup is of vehicles including the Mazda CX-7 and Mazda CX-9. The CX-5, the compact model in the series.

The Mazda CX-5 will continue his international debut at the 64th IAA (International Motor Show) held motor show in Frankfurt, Germany in September 2011.
