Lotus has been busy, very busy, in fact, before the Paris Motor Show. Obviously, with five concept car explosion that swept the show on the first day. Now the fourth presented a total of five vehicles from Lotus Elan concept. This vehicle is not as powerful as Lotus Esprit and elite hybrid concept, but more than Elise concept.
Turn Lotus Elan concept is a 450hp, 465nm torque generation turbocharged 4.0-liter V6 engine that is combined with a seven-speed dual clutch transmissions from Toyota. It races from 0-100km / h in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 310 km / h.
Lotus Elan concept is a 2-seater (2 +2 optional), mid-engine sports car, rear wheel drive car, and weighs 1295 kilograms, with its CO2 emissions to 199 g / km. The concept car has an elegant cockpit and flaunts awesome flat flat-top steering wheel. It has an abundance of carbon treatment and high-tech goodies, including digital display circuit for track days.
Lotus Elan concept is also similar with a Kinetic Energy Recovery System as in Formula 1 last year. It is the production in the summer of 2013 in force and will hit the market this autumn, with its price tag somewhere around $ 118,000 (€ 75,000) taken.
