An aggressive design and sporty potential: the X-Bow is not only a milestone in the KTM brand more than 50-year history, it is also a new entry in the small, but elite segment of radical, lightweight sports car. This valuable results from the concept: for their first car, KTM uses the finest materials, high technology and know-how of renowned partners such as Audi and Dallara development. The result is a street sports car with racing technology, including an avant-garde, carbon-fiber monocoque. By considering the basic version of the weight and 220 hp TFSI Audi engine, the performance values of the KTM X-Bow will surpass that of the super sports car with more than twice as much electricity: with a deadweight of about 1543 pounds, the KTM X-Bow accelerates at 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
But the 2007 KTM X-Bow Concept is not just a racing machine, even when it comes to performance, to achieve spectacular performance for racing. With modern technologies and exceptional solutions, it is much more to athletic skiers who are looking for is a purist driving experience. By foregoing electronic assistants and today the usual comfort features, the X-Bow offers an unfiltered adventure – aided by the standalone wheels in the style of the single-seater racing car, transparent technology and the car’s reduced concept, no roof, doors and windshield.
