Jaguar has today announced its plans to build for the C-X75-hybrid concept sports car world by storm last September. The Jaguar C-X75 will be built just 250 units, with prices taxes 700000-900000 €, depending on the local market. The production version of the Jaguar C-X75 will be powered by a gasoline engine and improved two electric motors, one for each axis. Jaguar C-X75 will be four-wheel-drive, and promises to offer a CO2 emissions as low as 99 g / km. The electric range of only the C-X75 is 50 km.
In terms of performance, the Jaguar C-X75 is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds and from 0 to 100 kph in just 6 seconds. Jaguar estimates that the rate of C-X75 is higher than 200 mph.
Jaguar C-X75 builds carbon fiber chassis and develops various technologies in the sports world.
Jaguar says that they develop the production version of the C-X75 in partnership with Williams F1. They are their know-how in areas such as aerodynamics, to present carbon-composite and hybrid manufacturing processes.
