TOKYO – Honda has released more images of HSV-010 GT. In a previous life, the design became his successor on the Acura NSX.
According to official information to the images that HSV-010, a normal atmospheric DOHC 3.4-liter V8 delivers released “500 or more” horsepower and at least 289 pounds-feet of torque function. The Ricardo sequential gearbox will shift paddles on the steering column.
The chassis features double-wishbone, torsion bar stabilizer and hydraulic vented disc brakes and rack and pinion-wheel electric. The car runs on 330/40R18 front tires, and – oddly enough – 330/45R17s in the rear.
The HSV-010 measures 184 cm long on a wheelbase of 106.3 cm. Curb weight only 2425 pounds.
Honda is scheduled to campaign the car in the GT500 class of the Japanese Super GT series in 2010 with the first race at Suzuka for the end of March.
