Gumpert Apollo Tornante is a proud father in Geneva. After a few teaser images, rumors and speculation, today at the Geneva Motor Show Gumpert their second model, the Tornante. The Gumpert Tornante is what the manufacturer calls a quick tour and was designed by Touring Superleggera. Measuring length 4475 mm, 1971 mm width, 1215 mm height and with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, the new super sports car weighs less than 1,400 kg. The strength of the Gumpert Tornante comes from a 4163 cc V8 engine good for 515 min kW / 700 hp at 6,500 rpm and 900 Nm / 663.7 pounds-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is covered with a rear-wheel-drive and a six-speed transmission with automatic synchronization and oil cooling.
