Altenburg, Germany – will Supercar Gumpert Builder Sportwagenmanufaktur a star-star cast in the next 24-hour race at the Nurburgring in Germany in part with a new hybrid race edition of Apollo.
Gumpert has driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen, who called cut his teeth with the Sauber, Williams, Jordan and Arrows F1 teams and ALMS driver Dirk Muller, co-winner of the 2004 Nurburgring event.
Gumpert’s racing car is derived a 630 horsepower twin-turbo 3.3-Pair-liter V8 from Audi, with a 134-horsepower electric motor and a battery that is recharged through regenerative braking.
The 24-hour Nürburgring race event will be held May 24 to 25 are.
