As recommended, the wheels and tires, the 2006 Ford Mustang Concept Giugiarois more than just a tribute to Mustang design. It is also a cry of the heritage of the performance of the car concept features a powertrain and chassis in conjunction with Ford Racing – for the Ford Motor Company motorsports development and operations.Ford Racing on the already solid 300 improved improved HP all-aluminum 4 0.6-liter 3-valve V-8 engine in the production Mustang GT by adding an intercooled twin-screw supercharger for the new concept. Other improvements include injectors from the Ford GT and a unique engine calibration. Engine air intake is increased by a larger mass air meter 95 mm and a conical air filter. Exhaust performance is enhanced with new Ford Racing mufflers and an X-pipe.
The powertrain upgrades estimated 500 horsepower, complete with an increase of 11 psi level of the Ford Racing supercharger. A high-efficiency Ford Racing aluminum radiator provides better cooling for the additional 200 horsepower under the hood serves as a guideline.
Under the car, the FR500C-inspired chassis tuning performed with a custom Ford Racing Handling Pack. This package, available through Ford Racing for the Mustang GT, adds new Dynamic tuned dampers, lowering springs and roll bars. The changes give the car a lower price while sharpening handling response. The car takes about 1.5 centimeters lower than the production Mustang GT.
