The Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato with the signature “double hump” or “double-bubble ‘roof was originally designed for racing helmets, the 2011 Geneva Motor Show debut on.
The post-modern link with Zagato, a legendary Italian design house from the end of World War II and is known for its lightweight and aerodynamic creations, at the right time, as rising fuel prices. The prototype is equipped with a powerful 105-hp four-cylinder engine TwinAir.
Other sporty touches the 2 +2 Coupé Zagato 500 are polished chrome trim and17-inch chrome wheels Shadow.
Fiat says that the prototype “especially for a young and dynamic male audience intended,” but noted that pop-yellow exterior color treatment “within the reasonable needs of the female audience.” The car is yellow and black leather box, while the headliner is a shiny high-tech fabric, said Fiat.
Strangely, the prototype stores handles other brands Zagato touches, such as the lack of flat mirrors and door. No confirmation on whether the production plans in the works.
