Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Tuned by Lingenfelter Front Side Top View

The ZR1 may be the fastest Corvette ever come out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, but that does not mean that it can not be improved. That’s where Lingenfelter Performance Engineering of Decatur, Indiana enters you have some of the fastest tuned Corvette in the world, and a number of other beautiful wild Chevys built. Their latest super-Vette, the ZR1 Jetstream Blue Metallic Lingenfelter took the drag strip in Maryland International Raceway last month. The result? A best pass of 9.813 seconds at 145.74 hours miles.
As you can imagine, Lingenfelter was more than a few minor modifications. The ZR1 compressor was with an aluminum air intake snout and a 11-ribbed, 2.6-inch drive, an improved air filter removed, a four-inch-diameter intake pipe with air-flow meter, a ported throttle valve and an aluminum air intake all things more Air in the 6.2-liter V8 help. Other upgrades include a higher heat, bigger intercooler reservoir and a series of sticky Mickey Thompson Street Radials R345/35R18 et. The final product provides 739 horsepower and 740 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels.
