The result is a luxury sports coupe aimed at car enthusiasts.”The CTS-V Coupe married our powerful and sophisticated technology with our most dramatic production design,” says Bryan Nesbitt, general manager of Cadillac. “To create this combination of optical and technical characteristics for a very compelling choice for consumers to luxury sports cars.”The CTS-V coupe will start production this summer.
The suite of technical and functional elements Magnetic Ride Control, race-bred Brembo brakes and to control an automatic transmission with paddle shift available. The V-Series coupe features a unique air intake grille of the car volume, doubled an important factor for high performance. It is also visually enhanced by a central part of the hood, identified that the release for the compressor and special front and rear walls are. Like the CTS Coupe, the exhaust is centered in the rear skirt, but with two unique outlets. Saffron, a new interior colors are offered to trim microfiber seat cushions and contrast stitching on the upper surfaces.
Form follows function:
The CTS-V coupe design is a clear visual presentation of technical precision and performance intent of the car.The coupe has is the same wheelbase as the CTS-V sport sedan, but the entire height of about two inches (51mm) lower and the total length is two inches (51 mm) shorter. The two models have only the instrument panel, console, headlamps, grille and front fenders.

* Signature vertical lighting with LED lighting tubes marked Center high-mounted stop lamp
* Signature functions like a rear spoiler
* Aerodynamic roof-mounted antenna for On Star and XM Satellite Radio
Super Charged Power Train:
The CTS-V uses the LSA supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine compartment was also on the CTS-V sedan. Rated at556 hp (415 kW) and 551 lb.-ft. Torque (747 Nm) is the most powerful engine offered in the history of Cadillac and drives the CTS-V Coupe 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The LSA engine is an intercooled Eaton system, premium aluminum cylinder heads and numerous details that their power is as to ensure smooth, quiet and equipped as possible. The compressor, for example, has a unique four-lobe rotor design, the rest is good, but also optimizing the performance parameters of the engine. A pair of six-speed manual gearbox is offered in the CTS-V Coupe: a Tremec TR6060 gearbox with a dual-disc clutch and a Hydra-Matic 6L90 six-speed automatic with paddle-shift control. Performance Algorithm Shifting is part of the 6L90 programming and provides a performance-oriented shift pattern during sustained high-performance driving. As with many models of Cadillac, the driver needs only the gear lever in the manual “gateway” push-to-the show that more aggressive mode. The paddle shift gear control system requires no movement. Send Instant control and quick thumb tap up /tap down gear selection.
Magnetic Ride Control:

The technical enabler of this dual-mode drive Cadillac’s landmark nature Magnetic Ride Control. It is standard on the CTS-V Coupe and is the world’s fastest-reacting suspension technology. It shocks by using magneto-rheological advanced technology rather than mechanical valves, greatly accelerating response time and accuracy.Electronic sensors at all four wheels literally “read the road” every millisecond, so creating constant adjustments to the dampers, virtually instantaneous and extremely precise control of movements. This is particularly advantageous for a high-performance car, because it helps keep the car very quiet during hard cornering, accelerating, braking and other dynamic maneuvers.Magnetic Ride shocks also enable a wider range of damping control to optimize the ride and handling for all driving conditions. The CTS-V coupe is an extra measure of control with two selectable modes (Tour and Sport) is offered, that the driver of the suspension for Grand Touring or more spirited driving performance to adapt.
Brakes and tires:
CTS-V includes advanced systems, brakes and tires, in cooperation with two renowned companies for high-performance technology: Brembo and Michelin. Brembo brakes on all four corners and include powerful,six-piston front calipers and four-piston fixed calipers on the rear axle.Grooved and vented discs is strong initial braking force while optimizing heat resistance and eliminate blur. The Brembo disc brakes with dual-cast “technology combined will of iron and aluminum, making an excellent performance and weight reduction. CTS-V also has an electric parking brake, allowing more legroom for the driver, key for high-performance driving.Michelin developed together with Cadillac engineers celebrated its Pilot Sport PS2 summer tires for CTS-Vand the exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels. The tire support of a high grip on the track conditions, while a good performance on the road.
Facilities:
