Detroit-The completely redesigned 2010 Buick LaCrosse luxury sedan is the latest example of the Renaissance influenced worldwide Buick product. It offers all-wheel drive, a suite of advanced technologies and intelligent personal security features, and three efficient, powerful engines.”The new LaCrosse will build on the success of the enclave as a next step in the Buick Renaissance and attention to detail, craftsmanship and modern technology,” said Susan Docherty, Buick-Pontiac GMC-Vice President. “It offers unique features such as four-wheel drive and a new, efficient four-cylinder engine,attract new customers Buick.”The 2010 LaCrosse within a global network of GM design and engineering centers developed, the growing popularity of Buick’s mirrors all over the world – particularly in Asia. It offers a modern vision of a luxury sedan at home see in the streets of Santa Monica or Shanghai, with indications that the legacy of the brand heritage can be used as design guides to remember.”There is a great harmony in all that offered by LaCrosse – a beautifully designed exterior, interior and apremium for a worthy complement to delight the senses and every lifestyle,” says Docherty. “It is a seamless package that best suits the global resources of GM in order that a Buick industry benchmark.”The 2010 LaCrosse is offered in three models – CX, CXL and CXS: • CX – fitted at the start of production with a new 3.0-liter direct-injection V-6, premium cloth seats and 17-inch wheels. The 3.0-liter engine delivers 255 hp (190 kW) and 217 lb.-ft. Torque (294 Nm) and has a six-speed automatic transmission. Later this year a new, Ecotec four-cylinder replaces the 2.4 liter 3.0 liter engine as standard. • CXL – also equipped with the new 3.0-liter, direct injection V-6 adds leather-appointed heated seats, dual-zone climate control, fog lights, outside mirrors with LED indicators and puddle lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels. An advanced, intelligent AWD system is available. • CXS – with a 3.6L direct injection V-6,real-time active damping suspension system (optional), perforated leather-appointed, heated and ventilated seats equipped, and chrome 18-inch alloy wheels (19 inch optional). The 3.6L engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, produces 280 hp (209 kW) and 259 lb.-ft. Torque (351 Nm).All models feature a beautifully shaped, globally influenced design that is instantly recognizable as aBuick, including a signature “sweep spear” Body styling side, portholes on the hood and grille of a waterfall.The LaCrosse interior is smooth and detailed aesthetic of the street, with elements such as ice-blue lighting in the cabin – the center console, dashboard and door panels. Buick signature Quiet Tuning to reduce an engineering process to block and absorb interior noise, creates a passenger environment without distraction.The contemporary atmosphere of the cabin of the LaCrosse is equipped with the available technology and personal digital connectivity in-dash navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, an auxiliary audio input with accent and includes a USB port.
