BRABUS offers the world’s largest engine tuning program for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. BRABUS is now also imports power boost for the new Mercedes-Benz V8 biturbo engine of the last S-and CL-500 (U.S.: S550 and CL550) and the S-and CL 63 AMG models. Depending on the model and the degree of tuning, increase power kits up to 620 hp (610 hp) / 455 kW and maximum torque of 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft). There are also aerodynamic components made of carbon fiber, custom wheel / tire combinations, with a maximum diameter of 21 centimeters and exclusive options made for the interior. All components are of the one-of-a-kind BRABUS Tuning Warranty supported ® for 3 years, to 100,000 kilometers/62, 000 miles (see BRABUS warranty conditions as of November 2006).

The BRABUS engine specialists have two performance kits for each of the new eight-cylinder bi-turbo engine. BRABUS recommends ARAL high-performance synthetic engine oil for all engines.

For the S 500 and CL 500 models BRABUS offers Brabus B50 – 490 CGI PowerXtra performance kits sell for £ 4,900 RRP. The BRABUS PowerXtra module is a plug-and-play device that is integrated in the engine electronics. After installing the 4.7-liter (287 cu. Inches) eight-cylinder bi-turbo engine delivers a powerful 490 hp (482 hp) / 360 kW, an increase in the standard 435 hp (429 hp) / 320 kW. Peak torque grows to 780 Nm (575 lb-ft).

The BRABUS B50 – 520 CGI performance kit for £ 5,900 RRP, leading to a capital increase of 85 hp for 500 models. In addition to the PowerXtra module, this version includes an additional charge air cooler. Equipped with this kit, both sedan and coupe a top speed of 300 kph (188 mph) in combination with the BRABUS Vmax unit. Rated power is 520 hp (512 hp) / 382 kW at a maximum torque of 820 Nm (604 lb-ft).

Besides the additional control unit for engine electronics, the two BRABUS driven performance enhancements for the 63 S and CL models also 63 water-air intercooler to an additional electric pump. The lower temperature of the intake air in both cases, energy efficiencies and long life even under extreme operating conditions.

For the S 63 and CL 63 models not equipped with BRABUS performance package offers the Brabus B63 – 584 performance kit for CGI £ 5,900 RRP. The bumps output by 40 hp (39 bhp) / 29.4 kW.

For all models of the 1963 Performance Package equipped BRABUS offers the Brabus B63 – 620 PowerXtra CGI version, which includes the cost of EUR 5900 MSRP. As the name suggests, after conversion of the bi-turbo engine produces 620 hp (610 hp) / 455 kW at just 5,500 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows 900-1000 Nm (663-737 lb-ft) available 2250-3750 rpm.

In S 63, and CL63 models BRABUS B63 – 620 PowerXtra Tuning CGI accelerates mph (62) from 0 to 100 km / h is shortened to 4.3 seconds. In combination with the integrated BRABUS V / max unit, the speed increases to 320 kph (200 mph).

The ideal orientation of the 5.5-liter engine added to the exhaust BRABUS sport exhaust system to control with output. The BRABUS front spoiler lends the production a visual enhancement and reduces lift on the front axle. The more distinctive front end with carbon frames for the completion of the gills on the sides of the front bumper. BRABUS aluminum sport fenders give the car a strong momentum.

The BRABUS carbon diffuser with integrated reflector and the carbon fiber rear spoiler reduce lift on the rear axle.

Naturally BRABUS also tailored BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels with diameters of 19 to 21 inches for all Mercedes S and CL-Class models. The wheels are high performance tires with Pirelli or Yokohama.

Upon customer request BRABUS refines the interior of the S-Class sedans and coupes CL correspond to the holders of personal taste.
