Bowler Nemesis EXR Acquired by CPP
CPP Global Holdings Ltd, a specialist body shop in Coventry (UK) Limited has been acquired Bowler Off Road, Derbyshire manufacturer of the Nemesis high performance cross-country race for an undisclosed price.
The sale was completed in January this year, after several months of negotiations between the CPP and Bowler and conclusion of the due diligence process. The announcement comes after the company announced the acquisition by a Memorandum of Understanding, the assets of the Spyker sports car company’s publicly traded holding company, signed Spyker Cars NV.
“This acquisition is excellent news for the fans and customers for the Bowler vehicles. I have a brand closely for several years, and I welcome the opportunity Bowler brand to new heights on the very exciting plans. I look forward to with Drew Bowler and Bowler works exceptionally talented team back to life, to bring these plans is grow. This development is another step in the strategy of the CPP as a collection of additional specialist automotive company, “said Brendan O’Toole, managing director of CPP.
Development and construction takes place on the current facilities Bowler in Belper, Derbyshire take. Production will be transferred to CPP in Coventry, including those of the Nemesis EXR-road version, the beginning of 2012.
The company was started by Drew Bowler Nemesis Bowler in 1999 and makes its high-performance off-road racer, based on meeting the current Land Rover technology FIA T1 specification for the World Cup Cross Country Championship. Some of their vehicles by private teams in the grueling annual Paris-Dakar Rally.
