APS Brackley, UK importer for Sportec pleased Swiss Luxury car accessories, to go to announce new performance upgrade for the 2009 models, the Audi S5 Coupe and Cabriolet quattro with the supercharged 3.0-liter V6, TFSI.
Marked the “Stage One” Upgrade Sportec S5 performance package includes a free-flowing air filter and a carefully developed ECU remap. This combination has a dramatic effect on the strength of the turbocharged Audi engine with 2995cc peak power of 328 hp at 6000 rpm to 425 hp at 6640 rev / min increases, a significant increase of 97 hp.
Sportec’s Stage One upgrade provides a large increase in torque on the Audi S5, whereby a maximum torque of 520 Nm (lb.ft 379) at 4250 rpm, with figures of 440 Nm (lb.ft 325) peak from the factory in comparison.
Careful development of Sportec engineers will ensure that more than 80% min of the maximum torque available to 2750-6250 rpm, which is very well suited to the characteristics of the seven-course cars in the S-Tronic transmission, and highlights the ease of conversion.
The extra power and torque by the Stage One Sportec Audi S5 reached upgraded significantly improved in-gear speed and performance of the car, in line with its luxury GT credentials.
