Gaydon, 11 August 2010. Aston Martin Design Director, Marek Reichman is to his first race in an open competition in the Vantage GT4 GT4 Aston Martin Challenge of Great Britain at Oulton Park on Saturday, August 21.

Marek, who is an avid fan of racing and regular participants in historic racing club is, Briscoe with Aston Martin Engineering Manager, Chris Porritt, himself an experienced racer GT4 for the 90 minute race on the demanding track infamous Cheshire later this month.

Aston Martin GT4 Challenge UK is part of a series exclusively for the owners to make the Vantage N24 GT4 and the Vantage. The races will be 90-150 minutes, with practice, qualifying and the race already in the same day. The series is the perfect opportunity for owners of Aston Martin racing cars compete on a level playing field in some of the best tracks with the full support of the plant.

Marek’s Co-Pilot Chris Porritt added: “Most of my experience with the GT4 Aston Martin at the Nürburgring, but Oulton Park is my home track and I drove my car there many times I’ve never had the opportunity in an Aston Martin . The standard of racing in the series so far is extremely high; Marek and I have our work cut out keeping up with the leaders. ”
