Although the German tuner MTM is working with Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Bentley, Lamborghini, KTM, Porsche and Spyker has a soft spot for Audi.
The founder of MTM was actually an engineer on the development of the team Audi Quattro, aos famous five-cylinder engine and in 1990 he started his own company, MTM, which stands for Motoren Technik Mayer.
So what’s new in MTM AOS, AOS Audi range? A new styling and performance package for the Audi RS6 Sedan. Just to remind you, the RS6 is not at work on low power. The car is a Lamborghini V10 under the hood to 580 hp and 479 lb-ft unleashed. Torque (650 Nm). But it seems that AOS is not enough for the people of MTM.
Called Club Sport, the MTM coil over suspension, a carbon fiber diffuser, a front lip spoiler and black 21-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. Interior goodies include a roll cage, Recaro carbon seats and six-point safety belts.
Performance-wise, the Sports Club received a revised ECU, a high-flow air filter and a stainless-steel exhaust system. These changes, which min 5.0-liter V10 biturbo engine pushed to 720 hp at 6360 rpm and a maximum 579 pounds-feet. Torque (785 Nm), constant 2750-6280 rpm. 0-60 mph 4.1 seconds and the speed of 124 takes mph (200 km/h) is reached in 14.5 seconds.
Depending on which tire compounds are used, the Club Sport, aos top speeds of 173 miles an hour (279 kph) 180 miles an hour (290 kph) 193 miles an hour (310 mph) or 211 miles an hour (340 km/h). This is a long way from limited top speed of 155 miles an hour RS6 standard (250 kph).
