The 2011 GT500 has served at 550 hp, thanks to the 5.4-liter supercharged V-8. According to our sources, the next incarnation of between 600-625 hp – if this seems a great challenge with the current engine.
Will a Ford twin-turbocharged version of the 5.0-liter V-8, or a larger (compressor) 5.8-liter V-8 engine in the next GT500?
The radiator grille and bumper were also reviewed. A larger chin spoiler in the front and at first glance, are included, front fog slimmer in the works. A second group seems to be on the net itself migrated. And Ford is back to pick up a few grills mounted air intakes, as on the 1964 Ford Thunderbolt used? Have you wanted to run the conspiracies.
This prototype runs on 500 GT wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires. Weight loss was an important part of making the 2011 GT 500 faster and more responsive, so expect a similar weight reduction regime with the 2013 edition.
