The driving experience is enhanced by the AMG adjustable coil over sport suspension, AMG high-performance composite include (two) and superior braking performance capabilities of the standard specification. The AMG package Track Ultra High Performance tires and active cooling for the rear-wheel drive is available as an option for better dynamics, while the AMG exterior aerodynamics package includes winglets and an adjustable carbon fiber rear spoiler.

The 2012 C63 AMG Black Series Coupe cuts an impressive figure. From first glance it is obvious that the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe is designed for spirited driving on a closed circuit. The new C63 AMG Black Series Coupe proudly displays its racing tires. The arrow-shaped front end with the central Mercedes star in the grille is the visual expression of the strong forward drive. The air intakes in the front apron typical direct constant airflow through the large refrigerator and two holes in the aluminum hood help from the outflow of heat from the engine. The diagonal lines in the front bumper of the vehicle width and emphasize the black front splitter in aerodynamic balance.

The distinctive design continues through the page. The newly developed front axle and a wider track is offset by new fender that extends from 2.2-inches. “6.3″ badges to show the enormous power of large displacement and eight cylinders, high-revving naturally aspirated engine under the hood. The impression of the air outlets behind the wheel arches, reminiscent of high-performance racing cars, while the newly designed AMG door sill trims are adorned with black trim of the visual front splitter to continue. The rear fenders were also widened by 3.3 inches on the track of the rear axle housing. Virtual ports before the rear wheels complete the picture.

Mighty 255/35 R 19 285/30 R 19 wheels and the grace of the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe to market. Mounted on 9 x 19 (front) and 9.5 x 19 (rear) AMG light-alloy wheels wheel / tire combination to impressive effect meets the fender and has a significant influence on the dynamic look of the new AMG sports car.

The titanium gray finish, the polished aluminum wheels with lightweight forging technology – and at the SLS. Compared with conventional wheels, forged wheels that are a total of 24.2 pounds lighter in general. The lower weight means less unsprung mass, improve both the properties of the suspension and steering precision.

The back of the Black Series coupe is also the performance. To create the new rear apron with its black diffuser insert the signature visual width. As with the SLS AMG GT3, but goes beyond the profile of the rear bumper. Place the black power at the top of the grill as an eye catcher and the AMG sports exhaust system. Both sets of chromed twin tailpipes in the rear of a bay integrated cross section. The lip spoiler on the trunk lid is painted in the color and reduces lift on the rear axle, resulting in more stability at high speeds. The AMG logo and the understated “Black Series” lettering is reserved exclusively for the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe.

A 6.3-liter displacement, a maximum output of 510 hp and a torque of 457 lb-ft of eight cylinders – a look at the specifications and it is clear that the technology behind the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe every bit a match for his sensational appearance. The high torque M156 naturally aspirated engine has been refined specifically for the new two-door. The forged pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft, lightweight all directly from the SLS and will be complemented by a new engine control unit. As a result, the sprint from 0 to 60 mph takes just 4.2 seconds (all figures are provisional).

High-speed, agile handling and phenomenal traction – the qualities of the AMG high-speed large-capacity naturally aspirated engine, every driver dreams. The jewel in the crown is the inspiring sound of the eight-cylinder AMG AMG sports exhaust system.

The optimized engine delivers more oil cooling performance even in harsh racing-circuit conditions. With components of the SLS, engineers added a 50 percent on the cooling surface of the oil cooler. Power is transmitted by the renowned, innovative AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed gearbox made sports available. Four forms of transmission, the rev-matching function and RACE START deliver maximum driving pleasure and a high degree of versatility. In the “Sports Plus” and “Manual” mode transition takes just 100 milliseconds.

The AMG sports suspension is an ambitious new development. Designed as a coil-over suspension as standard in racing and a typical feature of the Black Series models, provides a variety of settings and allows the operator to create an individual set-up. Track is from 1.57 inches (front) and 3.11-inch (rear) widened. In combination with modified stabilizers, providing the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe impressive dynamics, tough grip and minimal body roll. The speed of the AMG sports steering wheel allows more control over the vehicle, with special maps of the power steering for maximum driving precision.

The AMG rear locking differential is standard equipment and is responsible for reliable traction, especially under track conditions. The 3-stage ESP ® is the ideal solution for all situations – using the ESP ® button, drivers can of “ESP ON”, “sports handling mode” and “ESP OFF”. Due to the increased dynamics of the AMG high-performance braking system and anti-lock feature has been reprogrammed. The larger brake discs with racing has proved composite (two parts) technology on the front (1.42 x 15.35 cm) rear wheels and built-in (14.17 x 1.02 inches). Red-painted six-piston fixed calipers on the front and four-piston fixed calipers on the rear axle, reliable braking power to the perforated, light-resistant rotors are vented on all four corners.

The waiver on the back of the vehicle emphasizes sportsmanship and reduces weight. The C63 AMG Black Series Coupe is a four seater, although the AMG sports seats on the C63 AMG Coupé, with individual seats for the rear is known.

The AMG performance steering wheel in nappa leather / Dinamica Microfiber flat with the edge of the top and bottom with aluminum shift paddles for manual shifting. Airbags, belt tensioners and belt force limiters for all seats are standard equipment such as the ABS system, the 3-stage ESP ®, the tire pressure monitoring system and electronic speed control system.

AMG has two special packages on offer for further improvement in dynamics. The AMG package includes Trail 255/35 R 19 front and 285/30 R 19 rear sport tires from Dunlop. They were developed exclusively for the C63 AMG Black Series coupe and dramatically increase the traction. Active cooling on the rear-wheel drive improved performance in harsh racing-circuit conditions. The cooling module is removed before the diffuser insert at rear for optimal airflow.

The AMG aerodynamic package includes winglets outside of real carbon-fiber valance made at the front. There is also a strong carbon rear spoiler with adjustable wing. Both components not only to increase the downforce on the front and rear axles, but also optimizing the car aerodynamic balance.
