Land Rover today list the pictures, specifications and prices of the 2012 Defender Series, are on sale in the UK by November 2011. The 2012 Land Rover Defender has the cleanest engine ever to power of the model range, which is a 2.2-liter diesel. The new unit replaces the previous 2.4-liter diesel EU4. The new 2.2 engine in the 2012 Defender meets EU5 and develops 122 hp at 3,500 rpm and 360 Nm of torque at 2,000 revolutions per minute. This means that despite the smaller displacement, more than the 2.4-liter engine it replaces developed. The maximum speed of 2.2-liter 2012 Defender has a capacity of 90 miles per hour. The CO2 emissions from the 2012 Land Rover Range 266g/km and 295g/km evaluated on the 90-110 and 130.
The 2012 Defender keeps GFT MT 82 six-speed gearbox, which has both a high top gear for cruising and better low-speed crawl-able.

Land Rover offers two new option packs for the 2012 Defender. These include the Comfort Pack, which is trading at 1650 GBP, and the off-road pack, which will cost EUR 1,500. The Comfort package includes air conditioning, a CD player with AUX input, electric windows and central locking, while an offer off-road ABS, heavy duty wheels and tires MTR, a hook and an underride protection bar.

Besides the technical improvements mentioned above Land Rover Defender in 2012, also gave a revised front-end, a new dashboard with full LED lighting, new memory, a powerful heating and ventilation, and revised seats and seat configurations.
