It is over three years showed the concept for the Hyundai coupe was Velo Star. If it looked a little funky hatchback as something that was not in the Hyundai range. Now it is less than a year away from production, and believe it or not, the Velo-Star has not changed much.
At least that’s what we do not see different prototypes caught testing in public recently. When the camouflage thinning of the details still visible. For the most part, it’s the little things have changed for production. A larger grille, allowing more air to the right door handles instead of pop-out show car locks and outside mirrors with integrated signals available.
The Velo-Star will be powered a 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 140 hp. Not bad, considering that the Honda CRZ delivers just 122 horses from the hybrid system.
The Velo Star PS figure is all the more impressive as the car 40 miles per gallon on the highway ensures that Krafcik promised. That would be more than the Honda CRZ. Add the rear seats of the Velo Star and unique third door and it starts to look like a much more attractive and practical sports coupe. Price was a factor, but Hyundai is usually very good in this respect also.
