Nissan has announced the updated 2011 370Z Coupe for the European market. Along with the updated parts Nissan is adding a new trim level called the GT edition. The Nissan 370Z GT Heritage Edition has been added to the celebration, when it was first introduced in America in 1969 as the 240Z.
The updated 2011 370Z Coupe includes a wide range of suspension, gear and equipment improvements. With the new chassis promises to offer improvements to the Nissan 370Z Coupe to more stability at high speed ride and handling. There is also an optional seven-speed automatic transmission with “snow” mode, to prevent starting the car in second gear and speed to the wheels from spinning on ice or snow.
370Z Coupe is sensitive to the noise of the street, so Nissan has additional insulation pads of the lower body to deafening volume, and road noise. Other equipment upgrades include a new, optional rear view camera parking camera and a standard tire pressure monitoring system.
The engine remains unchanged with the same 3.7-liter V6 engine that developed all-alloy 24-valve Twin Cam not only more power and torque, but also stronger, more sophisticated and efficient work.
Finally, the new GT trim Edition 2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe, it comes with the new exterior color Black Rose, the contrasting stripe at the sides of the car with the GT Edition “logo. To complete the view, standard 19-inch alloy wheels be forged with anthracite RAYS used in place of the outgoing 18-inch wheels. The best part is that the 2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition is actually less than the standard model.
“Underlines the 370Z sports car is an icon and GT Edition their appeal to fans everywhere,” says Pierre Loing, Vice President of Product Planning of Nissan International SA. “The combination of excellent performance and the dramatic looks of this particular Nissan 370Z more than justice to the legacy of his famous father, while strong ties to the track shows its true origin.”
It’s really strange that the 2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition to recognize the heritage, but built the first commercial launch in Europe rather than America. Let us hope that the U.S. get the GT series, after all, it is where the “Z” was presented for the first time and got his fame.
