The most heavy-duty trucks, General Motors lineup – the 3500HD is equipped with dual rear wheels for heavy towing and hauling capabilities.
Five body / powertrain designs exist: a Regular Cab 4WD Extended Cab 2WD or 4WD, Crew Cab with 2WD or 4WD. They could all with single or dual rear wheels are removed. All sports long, 97.8-inch box. All body styles are one of two available engines: a petrol min Vortec 6.0-liter, 360 hp at 5,400 rpm and 380 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm thanks to variable valve timing and a 6.6-liter diesel engine developed by Isuzu Duramax that puts 365 hp at 3,200 rpm / min and 660 Nm at 1,600 rpm.

The diesel is compatible with B5 biodiesel. Interestingly, Sierra 3500S receives a gross vehicle weight exceeding 10,000 pounds (dual rear wheel version) is a 312 hp at 4,400 rpm version of the Vortec 6.0-liter. The couple song remains the same, however.

Four anti-lock disc brakes, OnStar, a tire pressure monitoring system, AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with four speakers and a 3-month trial subscription to XM Radio are all standard features on all 3500HDs and appear on the first four equipment lines levels.

Rear parking assistance is a remarkable stand-alone option, is heated as the washing liquid.
