The Fiesta is one engine: a 119-hp from the 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 109 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard. Dual dry clutch is six-speed automatic transmission optional. Ford says the transmission switch faster and have similar fuel economy as a manual. Electric power steering is standard.
As fuel is projecting Ford 29 mpg in the city and 38 mpg highway with the manual transmission. With the automatic, the highway projection remains the same, but the city does a mpg. A fuel package encourages mpg highway number 40, the city fuel economy is unchanged.
The Fiesta has seven airbags including knee airbag driver’s side. Anti-lock brakes and stability control are standard.
