2011 Casey Currie Truck Design
On the Lucas Oil Off-road racing in Chandler, Arizona, this weekend, short-course Pro Lite rider Casey Currie will be sponsored by General Tire. The driver has signed a multi-year sponsorship with General Tire Grabber and start racing on the LT265/75R16 tire is mounted on the new truck design for the season 2011.
“2010 was a monumental year for me,” said Currie. “I have to Torc series win, and that’s exactly what I did. The General Tire sponsorship is the perfect way to start with an even better 2011. I see how hard the team work GT driver, and I know that links them to run as hard work. I am proud to be part of this great team and start the year with the best tires in the off-road race. ”
Casey Currie is known for recording the Torc championship weekend in Crandon last year and the series’ Pro Lite title. In the 2WD Pro Light Truck class, defending Currie Cup 2010 PRO 2WD Light in the Monster Energy Nissan Frontier.
Born into a family Motorsport Currie began racing motorcycles when he 5 years old and 16 trucks was. Home with his first major victory to take in 2003, Currie champion of the MDR-speed truck series in his jeep.
In 2004, Currie moved to Pro Truck and Class 1, the second in the Pro Truck in the Baja 1000 and the third in the Class 1 500 in the Baja
He won second place in the 2008 and 2009 King of Hammer, finished in Round 1 and 2 of the 2010 Trophy Kart M4SX second, and went home with the championship win at the 2010 Torc series.
