The Cadillac SRX is a great success for General Motors, since it was renovated last year, is quickly become the best selling vehicle in the growing compact luxury crossover class. No doubt the buyer on the attractive and distinctive Cadillac styling and long list of available equipment energized. There are a number of significant problems with the 2011 Cadillac SRX, that you should break before the masses.
First, the SRX fat. It weighs 200-300 pounds more than most of its competitors. It is even harder than the larger Lexus RX 350th As such, the SRX 265-horsepower V6, the lines of others’ bikes on the paper, overwhelmed by excessive weight of this luxury crossover. It also suffers from a conservative transmission tuning and lack of torque, both feel the SRX sluggish when passing or away from a stop.
The optional 300-hp turbocharged V6 engine has the Battle of the Bulge. It offers at least significantly more than the basic engine grunt, but the Turbo SRX is fully loaded premium performance, or forms, which costs about $ 50,000. This is fine if you are interested in any job offers Cadillac SRX, but if you want a more modest price, you must overcome to wait for a basic engine.
Another question concerns the back seat. While legroom is generous, especially head room is tight, cause standard for the average amount of passengers the panoramic sunroof for all but the base SRX. This is unfortunate, because otherwise the SRX has one of the most pleasant, well-appointed cabins and beautifully described in the class. The seats are more comfortable than those in the Cadillac CTS Sport Sedan, and there are a few features such as ventilated front seats not on his rivals.
Overall, the 2011 Cadillac SRX is a nice, compact luxury crossover, as long as you live with the fact that incompetence and compromised rear seat. But that seems to give up hope. The Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo XC60 GLK350 are better in many ways, and they come not as a rule with a price penalty for the same device. The SRX has managed to sell a leader, despite his need to complete its “Biggest Loser”. If it were only a few hundred pounds, it’s a good chance that there could be a real class leader.
