Cadillac first played a bit with our performance in December, when she was a few renderings of the CTS-V Coupe racer was released, but now the company with the car in its true form with a fine set of images. We love to beat the look of this race and can not wait until she in flesh and blood on the North American International Auto Show on Monday 10 January to see.
GM also confirmed that Johnny O’Connell and Andy Pilgrim is in fact the pilots for the two cars, the Sports Car Club of America World Challenge GT series for the present season 2011. Johnny O’Connell is an experienced driver who won the GT1 championship in the American Le Mans Series three times, while Andy Pilgrim is the winner of the 2005 SCCA World Challenge GT class. The tests are at the end of this month at Sebring International Raceway, the race calendar in anticipation of the start kick-off March 25 to 27 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The race spec Cadillac CTS-V coupe will probably be powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, 556 hp. The car has a chassis; the race has mounted Magnetic Ride Control system. A complete set of Brembo brakes provide stopping. Unfortunately, no figures performance of Cadillac released.
