BMW helped the compact luxury SUV category with its X3 invent, but that does not win any gold stars. The new BMW X3 2011 is now entering the market with properties similar to thick, and there is a great effort on the part of Munich’s new crossover be back to the head of the pack.

This effort begins with a selection of revised engines. Base level X3s 2011, the roll-out of the BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina plant by the end of 2010 with an atmospheric “N52″ 3.0-liter i-6 produces 240 hp. The current X3 is 260 hp from the inline six, but the new model is estimated to hit 60 mph in 6.7 seconds, about half a second faster than its predecessor. The feet should lead with the head xDrive35i, powered by BMW Direct-injection 3.0-liter turbocharged I-6. The engine has 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph takes just 5.5 seconds, according to BMW. Select the Sport package, and you can push a 150 miles an hour top speed X3.

Both engines are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission coupled so that the proverbial nail in the coffin for the current six-speed manual option. Even so, the BMW X3 xDrive28i and xDrive35i will be the most efficient and fun-to-vehicles in its segment. The current X3 is already competitive on fuel consumption, and after our first installment of a pre-production X3 xDrive35i, it looks as if BMW has supplied to create a more engaging experience behind the wheel.

The new eight-speed planetary transmission system has four seats and five packs clutch. If a situation requires, the X3, 8 downshift to second gear with a clutch pack withdrawal, so the switch seems instantaneous.

The all-wheel-drive X3 is usually split 40/60 percent torque between the front and rear wheels, although the Performance Control system, the torque split shift to 20/80 percent front to rear, if the situation requires it. The system can also help to turn the car by providing additional funds for the outer wheel and the application of the inner back. In order to send 100 percent of the X3′s torque to the rear wheels in extreme conditions.
