NEW YORK – BMW Alpina B7 is now available in a four-wheel-drive. The Alpina B7 sedan in addition to the xDrive all-new 5-series debut at the 2010 New York Auto Show.
The rear-wheel-drive 2011 BMW Alpina B7 sedan debuted in February at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show. The Alpina B7 will be available in short and long wheelbase versions for all regular and xDrive all-wheel drive models.
BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system, the only change from the B7 sedan at the Chicago show seen. The B7 is making a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 to 500 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.
The Alpina B7 had previously offered a limited edition model 2007 and 2008 model year, BMW notes.
Pricing on 2011 Alpina B7 Xdrive was not known, but the rear-wheel-drive sedan B7 starts at $ 122,875 for the standard-wheelbase model and $ 126,775 for the longer wheelbase. Both prices include $ 875 destination. The B7-models will be in U.S. dealers this spring.
