Luton – Few would argue that Vauxhall VXR8 super-sedan storm lacks the power stakes, but in case there are any doubters, the Bathurst S Edition makes them legal or sideways …
The addition of a Walkinshaw Performance 122 compressor, the Bathurst S version with 560 hp V8, 431 hp compared to the standard car and produced hit searing acceleration in the speed range and a spine-tingling wail, Banshee, when the loud pedal.
The Bathurst S Edition combines the naturally aspirated VXR8 Vauxhall Bathurst Edition to the family, with two cars, a number of technical and cosmetic upgrades over the standard. Only a limited number Bathurst Editions will be sold through selected retailers Vauxhall.
More power to exploit the potential of Bathurst are six-pot front and four-piston rear now standard on both models, with stiffer, adjustable coil springs and dampers Walkinshaw over-developed.
