First impressions:
The Aveo RS show car, finished in Electric Blue Boracay helps Chevrolet global design features such as dual-element grille, round taillights and wheel arches, but the designers have the attitude of the show car with a small opening and a lower foot trimmed a combination of brushed and polished aluminum. Outboard fog lights are integrated in an excessive brake-cooling inlet that flows into the front wheel arches, making an aggressive-looking face.
Exposed headlamps inspired with their brushed aluminum surround structure, the designers’ love for motorcycles. The slim profile is characterized by a continuous line side of the body, a high beltline and low roof line. The mirror with turn signal amber have the same shape as the car and apparently disappear in the profile. At first glance the car looks really like a three-hatch, because the rear door handles hidden in the “C” pillar.
“The Aveo RS show car shows, such as progressive design personality can inject a small car,” said Michael Simcoe, Executive Director, North American landscape gardening. “We want to see customers and have an emotional reaction.”
No performance-minded car deserves its road, without the big wheels and tires cred. The Aveo RS show car wheels are 19-inch five-spoke gunmetal metallic finish with a Chevrolet logo. The openings for the wheels show great Boracay blue painted brake calipers.
The rear car of the show remains the subject of sport, with an integrated spoiler that emerges from the roof, a center-mounted exhaust system and chrome exhaust tips. The exposed motorcycle-inspired taillights tinted aluminum enclosure and feature a discreet Bowtie logo.
